Originally published in 1914, it was reprinted in a limited edition of 1,000 leather-bound copies in 1982. Starr, a half-blood Cherokee born in Indian Territory in 1872, became one of the most notorious bank robbers in America. He wrote his autobiography while imprisoned in the Colorado State Penitentiary. The book details his criminal activities over nearly thirty years and includes nine black-and-white photos. Starr claimed to have robbed more banks than anyone else in America. It's considered a rare and valuable source for anyone researching his life and the era of outlaws in the early West.

Rapid delivery. Very well packaged. Excellent service. NOTE: The following is NOT this seller's fault - just an observation about this book. The book is in very good condition but unfortunately the original publisher (1928) did not check what was sent out from the printing office. The book is missing one chapter and includes two exact duplicate copies of another chapter. It does however have several excellent maps and I have decided to keep it. The seller still deserves an excellent review.
