Antique 17th / 18th century Chinese Kangxi Period porcelain foo dog or mythical beast as an incense burner or joss stick holder. The figure stands atop a rectangular plinth decorated in spinach glaze. Measures 5 7/8" tall x 3 7/8" wide x 1 3/4" deep. Good condition - chip & loss to the holder on his back - does not detract. Eyes and ball missing. Very small chip to tail. Displays beautifully. Please note - international shipping with recorded delivery insured at full value.
