Freeform Murano Style MCM Orange Art Glass Sea Creature w/ Curled Tail ~ MINT Description : Although my first thought was that it was some kind of marine life, I've no clue! It's unique, it's o ne of a kind to be sure, so there will never be another! This is obviously a display item and although a display case, hutch or book case with a down-light would be incredible, it's going to steal the show no matter where you put it. Condition : Estate item but in pristine, MINT condition. There are NO chips, nicks, cracks, discoloration, flaws, fleabites, repairs, scratches, scuffs, water / mineral stains or any other cosmetic / structural issue. Neither are there any identifying etchings or labels. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Measures : 11-1/2" long x 8-1/4" wide x 4-1/4" max height Please Be Aware : When hand blowing glass, the last step in the creation process is the break-off. The fracture generally results in a small nipple. In this case, the shape is flat, as in pinched. It's inside the curled "tail", and is NOT a crack, fracture or indication of damage. Weighs : 2 lbs 4.7 oz plus packaging Notes : Unless NIB, factory sealed or otherwise impractical, all items are washed and sanitized prior to photography. Moisture exposes crazing that otherwise may be invisible. All items are stored in a smoke and pet free environment. I experienced hands down thee best packaging job I have ever had the pleasure to unwrap. Each plate was meticulously wrapped in tissue and then layered with card board that specifically cut to perfectly fit within the outer box and taped securely to ensure safe shipping. These plate in person sale better than described and found them to be an excellent value for a mid century modern fondue party or fondue for a cold winter’s night to warm up with friends.
