JOE SULLIVAN WAS A PITCHER IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES FOR 5 YEARS--- WITH THE DETROIT TIGERS FROM 1935-1956, WITH THE BOSTON BRAVES FROM 1939-1941, AND WITH THE PITTSBURGH PIRATES IN 1941. HIS BEST SEASON WAS IN 1941, WHEN HE HAD A WON-LOSS OF 6-3 AND AN E.R.A. OF 3.63. HE WAS A 1935 WORLD SERIES CHAMPION WITH THE DETROIT TIGERS. JOE SULLIVAN DIED APRIL 8, 1985.
