Lovely, festive, mid century modern ceramic platter with reticulated side handles, hand painted fruit varieties, highlighted with a thin red line glaze on the outer rim edge. The fruits are brightly painted in red, green, purple, orange, and the line detail on the pineapple really makes this piece pop. The plate has glaze crazing throughout on both sides and what appears to be a pottery pontil mark on the reverse. Stamped in red 2Japan. Hand wash with mild soap with a soft sponge, otherwise the painted fruit will fade. This is such a fun cute platter either for use or Vintage display accent piece.
