This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the opening of the Original West End production and WORLD PREMIERE engagement of the MARVIN HAMLISCH, CHRISTOPHER ADLER and JULIAN BARRY musical drama "JEAN SEBERG" at the Olivier Theatre in London. (The production opened December 1st, 1983 and ran for only 60 performances.) ..... Based on the life of the American actress, the plot covers her life and career from her first screen appearance in the 1957 Otto Preminger film Saint Joan to her acclaim in France prompted by her appearance in Breathless to her support of the Black Panthers to her mysterious 1979 death in Paris at the age of forty. The musical starred ELIZABETH COUNSELL in the title role and KELLY HUNTER as "Young Jean" and featured JOHN SAVIDENT, DAVID RYALL, JOSS ACKLAND, JOHNNY WADE, MARK CROWDY, BILLY DEAMER, OKON JONES, GEOFFREY BURRIDGE, PHILIP O'BRIEN, JENNY GALLOWAY, EVE ADAM, JOHN BLYTHE, JOHNNY M, GAIL ROLFE, KATE DYSON, ALINE MOWAT, SEETA INDRANI, JUDITH PARIS, JULIET ALDERDICE, JAY BENEDICT, PAUL STEWART, JOSEPHINE BLAKE, RICHIE PITTS, SUSAN DALY, MICHELLE TAYLOR, MARSHALL WARD, RONALD GOVEY and PAUL IMBUSCH ..... CONDITION: This handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.

Considering this playbill was over one hundred years old, it was in good condition. Its pricing was reasonable and it arrived in an acceptable amount of time. Packaging was quite good and so I have no complaints. In addition, I have often used this seller and have been very satisfied with my experiences.
