Desc ription: This Mid-Century Blotter Says "Wampole's Cero-Terpin Compound for Coughs due to Colds." There are 8 birds on the blotter in charming color. The blotter does have a bright orange background color. It says at the top "Bird Series No. 3 and Protect Bird Life." There is an inch ruler along the top and bottom and a metric ruler at the end edges. Unused. "Advertising ink blotters were used from the 1900s through the 1940s until the ballpoint pen was invented." Measures: 6-1/4" W x 3-1/2 " H. Condition: Corners and edges are slightly worn. Exactly as described. Honest description that was accurate. Super fast shipping. Only negative was that catalog edges had cut through plastic shipping envelope. Perhaps sealing edges with tape?? No damage but a thought since we all knowhow brutal USPS is. Overall very happy.
