Description

This Double Handle Vase has a classical shape which is finished with a brown, cream, orange and green drip glaze. It retains its original S & G silver metallic paper sticker. S and G is short for Scheurich and Greulich, a company founded in 1928 as a wholesaler of glass, porcelain and ceramics. Approximately 1950, they began the production of their own ceramics, including vases, and ceased the wholesale operation completely around 1953-54 to concentrate on their own ceramic production. There is a small repair spot on the rim (photo #7) that does not detract from the beauty of this piece. Approximately 6 1/2" Tall X 5" Diameter.
