The center tile is orange and it is surrounded by grey and black tiles. The bottom is gold colored. Can be used as a trinket dish or an ashtray. Thread is still in original packaging. Satisfied. However - the postage charge was excessive. These two spools of thread came in a mailing envelope, weighing almost nothing and $6.50 postage charge too high.
