Clever Programmer
The jacket turned out to be a model 1906 cotton tunic whose collar had been cut down by a company tailor to conform with the new 1910 -1912 regulation tunic. At first I was very neutral on this relic. But the jacket has grown on me over the past week because it represents a rare transitional example of early US Army tunic. I am going to conserve and restore the jacket to the way it would have appeared in 1910 and proudly display it in my collection.

The garment was great. Fits like a glove. Sturdy. Stylish. Perfect for what i need it for. Even better, the seller was very flexible and went the extra mile after I put in an old, incorrect address.
